And the Job Well Done Award goes to….The Springboks
This past weekend the Springboks finished off their tour of three European countries and the 2013 rugby season with a 19-10 win against France in Paris. The match was a tense affair with both teams only scoring one try in the match. South Africa’s try was scored by JP Pietersen, and fly half Morné Steyn and Patrick Lambie were responsible for the rest of South Africa’s points in the match.
It was a great way to end off the tour. The Springboks beat Wales by 24 points to 15 on the 9th of November and Scotland by 28 points to on the 16th of November. It looks like SA Rugby is back on track after losing the Rugby Championship to New Zealand earlier in 2013. The Springboks finished second on the log for this year’s tournament.
Some rugby analysts are saying that if the Springboks keep up their winning ways they could be well on their way to become one of the favorites for the 2015 IRB Rugby World Cup in England.
Today we’re presenting our second Job Well Done Award to the Springboks, because they are an inspiration to all South Africans and they have proven time and time again that they do our country proud.
