New and improved CV Search

Our new CV search will make your searching for candidates more streamlined and give better results we have added some new fields that you can search on namely:

  1. Ethnicity
  2. Age
  3. Date CV Placed in
  4. Citizenship
  5. Gender

Over and above these new fields you can now search on exact phrases

Eg if you are looking for a “chemical engineer” it will return CV’s with that phrase.

It will now return in the 1st results only CV’s with that exact phrase.

You can now also search on CV’s with Job Title and keywords together or separately.

In other words, the new and improved search function will help you to get that candidate that you have been looking for, just by getting the right keyword searches.

Improved CV Preview

On the CV search results page we have now added a lot more useful info namely:

The name and surname and Job Title are right on top and larger for example:

John Doe Manager

  1. Industry and sub industry
  2. Candidates contact number
  3. Nationality
  4. Ethnicity
  5. Gender
  6. Cover letter snippet

In the past, this was only limited to job title,  availability, minimum salary, employment level, highest education, and last position. So now we have improved this by expanding it with six additional criteria.

CV format PDF / Word

We have now also allowed users to upload their CV in word. This means you can now click download “applicants CV” if the Candidate has uploaded a word file it will allow you to download the word doc. This will in turn help you recruit the right candidate.

Please note not all CV’s will be in word if the user has uploaded a pdf you will be downloading a pdf file.

We welcome your feedback as to the new functionality and hope it makes your recruitment process more enjoyable and streamlined.

Happy recruiting!
