Please take note of the following advert criteria and user policies when it comes to placing adverts on Job Mail.
- The advert/s can only be about a vacant position in your company:
- Private companies – a vacant position in your company.
- Recruitment companies – Valid available positions for the institutes you are recruiting for.
- You can place up to 100 FREE ads per week.
- You may place each unique ad in one category and one region only, no duplications are allowed.
- No work-from-home ads allowed.
- There needs to be a contactable telephone number as well as contactable email address for all free ads.
- No fax numbers/086 numbers will be allowed as a method through which to send a CV.
- Race or religion cannot be mentioned in any adverts. You may mention AA or EE position.
- Website and Facebook links are not allowed for free ads, and neither is “send SMS” texts.
- By law, you may not charge Job Seekers a fee of any kind (admin fee, SMS fee, fax fee etc).
- Live-in maids/secretary “willing to go the extra mile” type of ads will not be allowed.
- NO ads seeking nude models.
- Advertising of adult content is not allowed (including ads for escorts/exotic dancers/lap dancers).
- For masseuse ads, use of the words erotic/topless/happy ending/live in, are not allowed.
- For masseuse ads, no full-length photo requests.
- Business opportunity ads, e.g Tupperware/AVON distributors qualify as a paid ad only.
- Training institutions cannot advertise courses on free listings, only vacancies.
- Ads for sensual massage qualify as a paid ad.
- Ovum donor ads qualify as a paid ad.
Premium Advert exceptions
- Salary package must be mentioned, but a stated amount is not required.
- You may choose to use either contact number or email (both are not required)
- Website and Facebook links are allowed.
Placing Premium Adverts
- You may place each unique ad in one category and one region only, no duplications are allowed.
- No work-from-home ads allowed.
Job Seeker picture criteria
- Job Seekers have to be 18 or older.
- Clear image.
- Head and shoulder.
- Only one person in the image.
- No nudity/adult or abusive content.
- No sunglasses to be worn in the image.
- Refrain from using an image depicting alcohol or tobacco use.
