Don’t miss this year’s Career Expo
Are you looking for high school, tertiary education or career advice? Then the 2019 Career Expo is the place to be. School leavers, parents, and learners will have access to information on various South African educational institutes.
What is the Career Expo?
As the only national public exhibition of its kind in South Africa, the Career Expo is an event held across the country that is not to be missed by learners. This is an opportunity for learners and their guardians or parents to explore the different careers that are out there. They’ll gain insight into different career options and learn more about tertiary institutes in South Africa. The expo provides learners with access to information on university courses, financial support, and accommodation.
Primary school children and their parents or guardians can benefit from information about the different high schools they may choose to attend. They’ll also discover tools on how to succeed at high school if they attend the expo. Other relevant topics include admission criteria and extracurricular activities. Learners can also find out more about the special programs the various high schools offer.
At the core of this expo is a dedication to promoting education in South Africa and ensuring that the relevant information is accessible so that learners can make the right choices. The 2019 Career Expo is sponsored by SABS Education and it aims to make this information accessible to every learner in South Africa, including under-resourced schools, small schools, and homeschooled learners.
What are the benefits of attending the Career Expo?
You’ll get the opportunity to meet university representatives at the Career Expo. Ask them questions and hear more about the courses on offer at their educational institutions. Field specialists will be in attendance to offer you advice on the career that you’re thinking about pursuing. This is your chance to gain insight into the duties and expectations that are associated with the various careers. The discussions and presentations at the expo offer you valuable information so that you can be sure that you’re pursuing the best career path for your skills and preferences.
